Our secure, on-line catalogue has inventory control measures in place. If an item is not in stock, you will not be able to check out. If an item is out of stock, and you want to know when it will be back in stock, e-mail us.
Q. ARE ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS SHOWN ONLINE?
No, not all of our products are shown online. We are in the process of adding our entire inventory to our online shoppe. This is a very labor intensive project, but, we are working as fast as we can to add all products to our web site.
Q. DOES THE YARN AND PRODUCT PICTURES SHOWN ON YOUR WEBSITE MATCH THE EXACT YARN AND PRODUCT COLOR?
Not always. While we endeavor to take high quality pictures, photograph colors can differ based on lighting conditions, etc. Additionally, especially when ordering hand dyed yarns, remember that this process is not a science. There are acceptable variances in colors from one lot to another. So, one lot of a particular color can differ from the next lot that a manufacturer provides us.
Any pictures on our site are for customer convenience and reference only. Due to the differences in each monitor’s calibration and display, the actual color of the product ordered may differ from the monitor display of the product’s color. All monitors display colors differently. We will not accept liability for any differences in the monitor display of a product’s color, and the actual color of the product purchased.
Q. DO YOU HAVE A PRINTED CATALOGUE?
No. We do not have a mail order catalogue. We are adding all of our yarns, patterns and products to our online shoppe. If there is anything in particular that you are interested in, please contact us and we will do our best to help you.
Q. HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
All orders must be paid for by credit or US debit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept payment by check or postal order, and you cannot pay in installments. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

All prices are shown in USD (United States Dollar). All goods are sold subject to availability. Both price and availability information is subject to change without notice, hence any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price. While we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Despite our best efforts, a small number of items displayed on our site may be mispriced.
Q. WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING CHARGES?
Orders are shipped from Washington State. All orders shipped to Washington State addresses will incur any applicable sales taxes. Shipping and handling charges are based on order weight. Our online catalogue is designed to automatically calculate the weight of your order. It then displays air or surface shipping and handling rates to your zip code via USPS or UPS, according to your preference. To view shipping charges, simply add an item to the shopping cart, select checkout, then select estimate shipping charges. Unlike other online merchants, we do not base shipping charges on the amount of your purchase. This way, you do not pay more for shipping one skein of cashmere or other higher priced yarn than you would for one skein of cotton or other inexpensive yarn.
Q. WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED?
Our online catalogue has inventory controls in place. You will not be able to checkout if an item is not in stock. Your credit card is charged immediately upon placing the order and our company receiving notice of payment
Q. WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
Once payment has been verified, your ordered will be packed and shipped immediately. All orders are generally shipped within 24-48 hours of payment.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
- All sales are final.
A request for a Return Authorization *MUST* be submitted to us before any products are returned. We can not accept returns that do not clearly display the Authorized Return Number we assign.
Returns will only be accepted in instances where Vintage Knits Wool Shoppe, LLC sends you the incorrect item, or if you receive merchandise that has been damaged in transit. Please examine all shipments immediately upon receipt. If you receive items that are damaged in transit, or if you receive the incorrect item, you must notify Vintage Knits Wool Shoppe, LLC within 48 hours of receipt. In instances of damaged merchandise, all packaging material must be retained so it can be inspected by the carrier. Without the packaging material, there is no evidence that the package was damaged in transit, and the carrier insurance will not cover the package.
At Vintage Knits Wool Shoppe, LLC we are very careful in filling our orders. But, if you receive the incorrect item, notify us within 48 hours of receipt. If we make a mistake, we will provide you with a return authorization number, and postage for the return of the incorrect merchandise that you received. All product returned must be unused, unopened, yarn labels intact, and in a resaleable condition. Once the merchandise is returned, we will ship you the correct items that you ordered. You will not incur any additional shipping charges. Any goods supplied in error by Vintage Knits Wool Shoppe, LLC will be replaced at our cost.
If there is a claim of a shortage (missing item) in your order, notify us within 48 hours of receipt. If there is a shortage in your order, the missing item will be shipped to you at no costs.
Vintage Knits Wool Shoppe, LLC cannot be held responsible for missing goods if an incorrect delivery address was provided by you at the time of your order. To insure that your package is delivered safely, please check your postal address details very carefully before you confirm your order.
