Green Mountain Spinnery is a worker-owned cooperative in Putney, Vermont. They do not use any chemicals to bleach, moth-proof or shrink-proof their yarns. All fibers that they use are grown and spun in the USA.
Mountain Mohair is a luxuriously soft yarn that has vibrant and subtle hues with a frosty sheen. Green Mountain Spinnery creates this premium yarn by hand, selecting the softest yearling mohair and spinning it with fine wool.
