Vintage Knits Wool Shoppe carries patterns and yarns from Mountain Colors yarns. Our current inventory of Mountain Colors includes these yarns: 4/8 Wool, Merino Ribbon, Bearfoot Sock Yarn, Weavers Wool, Mountain Goat, Twizzle, and New 3-ply Wool.

Mountain Colors is a small yarn company located in Montana's beautiful Bitterroot Valley. They produce multi and solid color hand dyed yarns for knitters, weavers, crocheters and other fiber artists.  Mountain Colors Yarns started in 1992 with four yarns and seven colorways.  They have expanded to include 15 yarns and more than 46 incredible colors inspired by the mountains, rivers and woodlands that surrounded the Bitterroot Valley.
