This yarn is a favorite of lace knitters. Zephyr lace yarn is a 50% merino wool, 50% silk blend. This yarn has an elegant sheen, wonderful drape, and soft feel. Use Zephyr for lace knitting, heirloom shawls, or knit it double stranded for socks, gloves and fair isle patterns. Because of the difficulties inherent in dyeing wool-silk, some shades may be less resistant to fading in light and water than 100% wool. The manufacturer recommends dry-cleaning only. Made in the USA.
